Holiday Flat – Tain, Ross-shire, Highlands of Scotland

The Royal Burgh of Tain is Scotland’s oldest Royal Burgh and is home to many fine buildings, an 18-hole golf course, museum and a thriving town centre.

Our flat, built in 1827, a listed building,  is situated right on the main street near all the shops, banks, hotels, pubs and take-aways. Buses stop outside and the railway station and golf course are just a few minutes walk away.  There are walks nearby on the links, and many forest walks just a short drive away. Then, of course, the glorious countryside of the North Highlands is all around you.

The famous Royal Dornoch Golf Club is just 10 miles away and there are golf courses at Bonar Bridge, Helmsdale, Golspie, Invergordon and Alness, all within half an hour or so drive.

This large bright flat was completely renovated in the summer of 2009 and retains many of its original features whilst offering every modern convenience.

The three spacious bedrooms (one ensuite, two with separate bathroom) provide comfortable accommodation for up to six adults. The living room/dining room features Sky+ TV, free WiFi broadband, DVD/CD/Cassette players and telephone.

So if you want the comfort and convenience of small town living, yet ease of access to the countryside or the many golf courses of east Ross-shire and Sutherland – we welcome you to Tain!

Disabled access. Please note this flat is accessed via a steep set of stairs from street level and is not suitable for persons with mobility problems.
